FoodPRO, Frederick’s 2022 TOP 50 INNOVATOR!

In 2022, FoodPRO was nominated as one of Frederick County’s most innovative businesses. The criteria to be nominated was very clear. The business must have developed new and innovative products, adopted new technology solutions, expanded into new markets, pivoted business to meet the needs of customers, developed creative solutions to solve problems and/or introduced new ideas within the business. We qualified on every level having implemented so much change over the last few years. During COVID we pivoted and opened up our will call center and had record-breaking sales day for the public to source food. We have expanded our markets as well as upgraded our ERP system to better accommodate one line ordering and enhance purchasing processes. We developed a new solution, Provantage, that helps our customers address local visibility through social media and menu platforms.
